Sébastien Boreux has been a sovereign rating analyst at S&P Global Ratings since 2019, specializing in African sovereigns. Prior to joining S&P, he served at the French Treasury, where he was responsible for economic and financial relations with central Africa. He also held several positions at the World Bank Group in Washington, DC, including the Treasury’s Financial Advisory division and in the Office of the Chief Economist for Africa, where he worked on macroeconomic and development issues across the region.
