Bienvenido Nguema Envó is an accomplished energy executive with over a decade of experience in supply chain management, logistics, and institutional relations within the oil and gas industry. Currently serving as the Director General of GEPETROL, he plays a pivotal role in shaping and advancing Equatorial Guinea’s energy landscape.
With a career spanning leadership role in global corporations like Hess Corporation and Trident Equatorial Guinea, Inc., Bienvenido has demonstrated expertise in managing multi-million-dollar projects and significant levels of inventories, and leading diverse teams across operations.

As Supply Chain Manager at Trident Equatorial Guinea, he was responsible for managing a budget exceeding $60 million and inventory valued at over $100 million while spearheading logistics, procurement, and contract management activities. Recognized for his ability to navigate complex institutional environments, Bienvenido is a trusted advisor to stakeholders, who now in his position as CEO of Gepetrol, bridges the gap between corporate entities and governmental institutions. His contributions to the energy sector includes, enabling the implementation of industry initiatives for the benefit of communities, as well as negotiation of critical contracts and implementation of ERP systems like SAP.
Bienvenido holds an MBA in Logistics and Supply Chain Management from the University of North Texas and a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) in Marketing. Fluent in English and Spanish, with a foundational understanding of French, he thrives in multicultural environments and dynamic sectors.
